As part of a live performance, this short loop animation was made to be projected in the background as poet Jady reads his poem, A Relationship.
The poem is about messaging a lover who does not reply back, and so the animation is an interpretation of that hollow experience.
Each individual frame was painted by hand with a mix of inks and watercolour.
